The system comprises two separate cycles. The cycle for the left ventricle is guided via four receptacles (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) to the left atrium, the receptacles (7) and (6) are used for the ventricle, while (7) is used for both cycles. The perfusion substance is preheated with closed valves (17, 18, 19, 20) before a starting phase is initiated. The pumping activity of the now beating heart (1) and the flow of the substance (29, 30) is constantly controlled and adjusted as required.
