The motor vehicle's seat (1) has a pivotable seat back and a pivotable belt buckle which is pivoted by folding of the seat back. The belt buckle (4) is connected to the seat back (3) by a connecting component (14) which may be in the form of a pull cable and which acts upon the belt buckle at a distance (a) from the buckle's pivot axis. The cable is anchored to an end section of the belt buckle which extends beyond the belt buckle's pivot axis. By its other end the cable is anchored to the frame (5) of the seat back.
