The mirror (47) is set at an angle of 45 degrees on a shaft (17) with a calibration disk (51) adjacent to a reader (53). The shaft is rotated by an electric motor (21). There are two pulsed lasers (11), each with its own lens (33) on either side of a big lens (35) for the light receiver (15) array (59). The receiver array is positioned at the bottom of a shaft (55) and has an optical filter (57) in front of it. The system includes an evaluation circuit (25) and a control circuit (27) and has a connection (63,65) to a computer (67).
