The method for feeding lacquer powder (4) from a tank (6) to a spray gun (8) comprises sealing the outlets (18, 20) of a cylindrical chamber and applying suction to it. The inlets (14, 16) are then sealed and the powder blown out using compressed air. Hollow cylindrical filters (50) are fitted around the inlets. An Independent claim is included for a machine for carrying out the method.
