A nozzle for powder spray gun comprises nozzle body having integral deflector at outlet end, the deflector forming an outlet through which powder exits the nozzle; powder flow path through an interior portion of nozzle body, the flow path having an inlet. The outlet has a cross-sectional area that is greater than or equal to a cross-sectional area of the inlet. An independent claim is also included for a pump for dry particulate material, comprising pump chamber connectable to source of material and having pressure chamber, source of negative and positive pressure that are alternately applied to the pressure chamber to suck material into the pump chamber and push the material out of the pump chamber, and a reservoir that stores negative pressure from the negative pressure source for use by pump.
