Absolute or differential pressure sensor comprises a separating body (1) with a pressure chamber (3) that is sealed by a separating membrane (2) that is acted on by a pressure. The chamber is filled with a hydraulic pressure transmission medium and connects to a pressure sensitive element (5). The pressure sensor has an additional hydraulic capacitance (6) that communicates with the pressure chamber and comprises a damping membrane.
