The screen, made in sections (12) that can be coupled together, has each section comprising two upright supports (16) with articulated joints (24) between their upper end lower sections, mounted on bases (38) by similar joints and having handles (34) on their upper ends to which guy lines can be attached. The supports hold up a sheet of a flexible material (42) such as tent fabric which has a series of half-moon slits (46) to reduce wind resistance.
