A folding igloo shaped tent has a folding support frame with side sections joined to an upper hinge point. Each side frame member has three sections linked by hinge joints and with the bottom ends secured to a ground sheet attached to the tent. The frame is erected from the compact folded position without any additional, separate components. Folding support braces secure the structure. The tent is slung under the frame via fabric loops and is permanently attached to the frame in both the folded and erected positions.
