An electronic emergency passport has an integrated data memory device which is designed for storage of person-specific data and an output device (16) which is in signal connection with the data storage device and is designed for outputting the person-specific data, in which the emergency passport is designed for positioning on a piece of clothing or on a clothing accessory. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) (I) A piece of clothing or clothing accessory with an emergency electronic passport (b) (II) A method of fabricating an emergency electronic passport.
