An isolated nucleic acid (I; 6786 base pairs (bp)) that encodes a 1995 amino acid protein (II), or its naturally occurring variants, is new, where sequences for (I) and (II) are given in the specification. An Independent claim is also included for a method for identification of mutations or alterations in a nucleic acid sequence in a biological sample by (i) incubation with (I) or its fragments, under hybridization conditions, (ii) isolating nucleic acid from the sample and (iii) identifying any mutations or alterations.
