The container has an internal perimeter wall (10) with a circumscribed interior (18) conforming the shape of a beer keg, and an outer perimeter wall (14) provided with a base. Cooling agent, such as ice, is stored in the space (20) formed between the outer and internal perimeter walls. An opening (12) is formed on the outer and inner peripheral walls for guiding the tap of the beer keg. The base is used for tightly sealing the space where the cooling agent is stored.
