In this device a dish-shaped ice/water container (5) is arranged on the upright keg-type beer barrel (4) and is connected to the latter by means of a three-part adaptor according to the invention and, as a result, there can be introduced into the dish-shaped ice/water container (5) a cooling coil (6), which in the operational condition is surrounded by an ice/water mixture and forms part of a two-way conduction system (7), which is screwed onto a commercially available, mounted keg-type tap head (18) so that the beer can be pushed by means of a supply of pressure, based on CO2 and operating in a known manner, to the common draught-beer tap (8) either through the cooling coil (6) or bypassing the cooling coil (6), the direction being controllable by a valve (19), and in this manner cooled or non-cooled beer or a temperature mixture can be drawn.
