The seal is for an operating unit comprising a cylinder (3) in which axially moves a piston (5), with the cylinder and piston forming a pressure medium filled working chamber. The seal (17,19) has a sealing lip sealing the working chamber (7) and a wiper axially spaced away from it. The seal is fitted in a slot (21,23), and in an annular chamber between the wiper and sealing lip is provided with a lubricant filling. The annular chamber is connected to at least one lubricant supply pocket.
