In the inlet pipe (26) to the air conditioning equipment (22) is fitted a sensor system (28). This includes sensors for air temperature and humidity, pollutant concentration, and air mass sensor (the latters measurements are independent of the vehicle speed). The latter can be the type of sensor used in the control of the combustion engine.
