The piezoactuator has a base body (4) with a stack of piezoelectric layers one above the other and intermediate electrode layers. The piezoelectric layers contain ceramic material and are sintered together and a hole passes through the base body in the electrode layers. A pre-formed contact element (5a-5d) for contacting the electrode layers is inserted into the piezoactuator.
