Magnetic layer system has a hard magnetic layer formed as a layer stack consisting of a first layer (FM1) having soft magnetic, ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic properties, a second layer (AF) having antiferromagnetic properties, and a third layer (FM2) having ferromagnetic properties arranged between the first and second layers. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a magnetic layer system.
