A pump component is fabricated of composite materials consisting of a metal part (6) and a cast hybrid component (7). The cast hybrid component has an anchorage section with an undercut to which the metal part is fixed. The anchorage part is perforated sheet metal (8) of thickness 1-2 mm with distance-spacers (9) maintaining a small separation from the surface of the metal part (6), to which it is attached by the spacers (9).
