The pump has housing (10) with a cavity, and formed through upper and lower parts (12, 14), which consist of cast part. The housing has a pump chamber (16), intake manifold (18), spiral port (36) and pressure joint (38), through which a fluid flows. A portion of inner walls of the cavity is formed through a wear protection part (40), which is cast in into the cast part, where the wear protection part is made of abrasion resistant metal. The wear protection part is designed in a tube shape, and is embedded into a wall of a pressure joint in a flush mounted manner.
