The coupler has a closed ring (10a) to which a key-holder is connected and to another ring (10b) the key is connected. Both the rings are formed by overlapping a pair of circular portions, where the portions are the part of a single spring wire. A connecting portion (13) connects the pair of circular portions. Each circular portion have opening that is closed by the other circular portion when the portions overlaps.
