A control device (1) supplied from an external supply (7). It has an internal voltage regulating circuit (2) and a microcomputer to issue commands based on inputs (4) from external sensors. The device is formed on a multilayer substrate (15) and has two ground structures. One (20) is provided for the voltage regulating circuit components (22,23,25) and it is connected (32) to a second (30) forming a common ground for the remaining electronic components.
