Displacement spindle length variation measuring method, for printing plate exposure device, uses measurement of stepping motor clock pulses for displacement of exposure head carrier along reference path
The length variation measuring method uses determination of the number of stepping motor clock pulses used for movement of an exposure head carrier (16), displaced axially relative to a printing plate exposure drum (1) via the displacement spindle (13), for movement along a reference path (35) during an operating phase, with comparison with the number of stepping motor clock pulses required for displacement along the reference path in a calibration phase. An independent claim for a device for measuring the variation in length of a displacement spindle used in a printing plate exposure device is also included.
