A hat has a fixed cover (11) with a fixed outer pattern (12) and with one or more separate two sided panels (20) attached to the hat by seams ay each end. The panels can be folded onto the front or rear of the fixed hat to display different patterns, logos etc. The adjustable panels can be in an overlapping array and also serve to provide more or less heat retaining qualities, i.e. by covering or exposing ventilated panels.
