A stabiliser for an archery bow has a number of parallel flexible rods (10) arranged in a ring about a central axis between a bow mounting and a free end to which selected weights can be fitted. The flexible rods are fitted with sliding nodal grips to tune the damping system. The lightweight blocks comprise sleeves (17) with outward facing open grip profiles (19) for a sliding grip on the rods. The sleeves have apertures (21) between the grips for further weight reduction. The length of each sleeve is not greater than the ID of the sleeves.
