The training and exercise machine has a sloping table (2) in front of a sliding and pivoting seat (3) and is shaped like school desk. The table and seat are supported on a rectangular frame (1) which may have adjustable feet. The seat is supported by a vertical- axis pivot (5) on a guide tube (4) which may move along a rail (8). A spring (9) pushes the seat forward. A clamp (6) holds an adjustment member (7) on the end of the tube, with a pin (11) to prevent it rotating on the rail. A fitting (12) on the adjustment member limits the swivel angle of the seat.
