The universal circular saw has a motor plate (1) with vertical guides for a table. The motor plate is made in one piece with at least one guide sleeve (2) and four slots (3) to receive a motor and bores to receive a stop for a pneumatic cylinder. The table (4) has threaded guide flanges (5) and is mounted to the housing by a receiver (9). Movement control springs (11) are positioned around the vertical guide shafts (6) for the motor plate.
