The towing vehicle (10) has an arm (11) with a ball (12) engaging in a cup (13) on the end of a towing shaft (14) on the trailer. An upright rod (15) is mounted on top of the cup and is held by a magnet in a housing (16). There is a ball (21) on top of the rod, with a lamp (19) just underneath it, visible through the rear window (18) of the towing vehicle. A spring arm (20) may be mounted on the back of the lamp.
