A first pearl (1) is pulled to the end of the string (2) and attached between the holding element (3) and the loop holder (12) provided with a slot. The string (2) is guided through the slot along the lower side of the loop former (5, 6, 7) in a groove (8) and inserted into a ring (17) located at one corner of the base. When a lever (10) is turned the loop former (5, 6, 7) is simultaneously moved anti clockwise and back, the loop moved close to the pearl (1) and the next loop holder (12) is moved into position.
