A dicing machine for food preparation has a rotating cutter to slice the food and with the angled cutting edge pushing the food through a fixed cutting grid with a square pattern. The grid is secured by fasteners and can be exchanged to cut different dice sizes. The grid is secured by clamping grips (18, 19) near to the food duct as well as a fitting onto the drive shaft of the machine and by a screw fastener (17) at the other edge of the grid. The clamping grips have fixed mountings under which is located a tapering grip element attached to the edge of the cutting grip.
