A chilled dairy dessert essentially has two formed ingredients which are combined in a circular tub. One of the components is a dairy product. One of the components e.g. whipped cream is applied as a foam. The components are positioned in the tub side-to-side, in segments extending from the tub base to the surface. The components are of different viscosity, density and appearance. The foamed component, whipped cream or fruit has a bulk increase of 20-160%.
