There are various appliances in a camper van or caravan operated by using a separate cylinder of gas joined to the appliance with a tube connected to a regulator. The cylinder is frequently accommodated inside a cover or a part of the appliance as in the case of a heater or cooker, providing only a limited space for manipulation when an empty cylinder has to be removed and the full cylinder has to be connected. An open end spanner of the appropriate size with a rotation angle of only a tenth of a full circle facilitates a convenient operation.
