The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of alcohol and drug dependence comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a combination of : (i) an opioid antagonist; and (ii) a NMDA receptor complex modulator, and a pharmaceutical kit comprising : (i) an opioid antagonist ; and (ii) a NMDA receptor complex modulator.
