The telecommunications station (1) has a metallic structure comprising at least one pylon (2) equipped with means for transmitting and receiving signals, and a premise (3) for storing specific radio equipment. The station also comprises an autonomous electric supply, and the structure is self-supported and constituted of elements which can be joined by assembling on site. The station (claimed) comprises the autonomous supply which is a solar generator constituted of a set of orientable photovoltaic panels (4) conneceted to batteries below and mounted on supports which let wind through, means for control and protection, and means for coupling and automatic managing. The station also comprises complementary sources of energy supply such as micro-turbines or wind energy utilizing devices. The structure has a metallic chassis of galvanized iron which can support the pylon (2), the premise (3) and the autonomous supply in the form of panels (4). The metallic chassis is such that it can be slightly embedded after levelling the soil and placing on a level sand bed. The chassis is supported on four corners on plates of galvanized iron which ensure good sitting and allow an adjustment of the installation. The premise (3) is equipped with a climatization system which controls the temperature as a function of limiting values allowable by specific equipment. The station also comprises means for giving an alarm in the case of malfunctioning of the installation, means for controlling the presence on site, and means for forbidding access to unauthorized persons such as a fence (12).
