The fuel injector comprises a body (1) with a drilling (8) in which a needle injector (10) slides longitudinally. The needle has a piston shaped segment (110,210,310) and its end located at the side of the combustion chamber has a conical fluid tight surface (22) through which the needle engages the valve seat (19) and controls the opening of an ejection orifice (17). In the piston shaped segment are at least two transverse drillings (40).
