The mudguard has a wall (1) adjacent to a kart wheel (11). A transverse wall (3) covers top of the wheel to protect the projections generated by the wheel. The adjacent wall has a shouldered strut unit (5) allowing the assembly of the guard on a wheel steering pin (17). The strut unit rotates towards an exterior of a bearing and towards an interior of strut rings (21) appropriate to wheel width.
