The heating unit has a duct section (332) in which a single or multiple layer or film (XIV) extends, and a device for alternately circulating a hot or cold air flow in the section. The device alternately circulates the hot air flow when the film passes through the duct section, and the cold air flow when passage of the film is interrupted. An Independent claim is also included for a procedure for heating a single or multiple layer film in order to form an assembly.
