X-ray radiation emission regulating procedure for medical applications, involves expressing radiation as expression in which logarithm of emission value is polynomial function of order two for current and of order one for voltage
X-ray radiation emission regulating procedure for medical applications, involves expressing radiation as expression in which logarithm of emission value is polynomial function of order two for current and of order one for voltage
The procedure involves calibrating radiation emission from an x-ray tube (1) based on high voltage to be applied between a cathode (5) and an anode (6) of the tube, and on heating current of the cathode. The current is regulated for emission based on the calibration. The radiation is given as an expression in which the logarithm of the emission value is a polynomial function of order 2 for current and of order 1 for voltage.
