PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel sintered alloy having excellent surface denseness, surface hardness and corrosion resistance, and to provide its production method.;SOLUTION: The inside of the stainless steel sintered alloy has a composition comprising, by mass, 10 to 20% Cr or 16 to 22% Cr and 3 to 16% Ni, and further comprising one or more metals selected from Mo, Cu and Si by ≤5% in total, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and the surface layer part of the stainless steel sintered alloy has a composition comprising 10 to 20% Cr or 16 to 22% Cr and 3 to 16% Ni, further comprising one or more metals selected from Mo, Cu and Si by ≤5% in total, and further comprising one or two metals selected from K and Na by the average concentration of 0.01 to 1% in total, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
