PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-carbon steel sheet hardened by heat treatment after being worked, which can inhibit the surface layer of a steel sheet from being carburized or decarburized during the heat treatment.;SOLUTION: The high-carbon steel sheet superior in workability, hardenability, weldability, carburization and decarburization resistance comprises, by mass%, 0.2-0.35% C, and 0.0003-0.5% one or more elements among Sn, Sb, Bi and Se in total; 0.03-0.3% Si, 0.15-1.2% Mn, 0.02-1.2% Cr, 0.02% or less P, 0.02 % or less S, 0.2% or less Mo, 0.01-0.10% Ti, and 0.0005-0.0050% B, as needed; and further one or more elements among 0.05% or less Ce, 0.05% or less Ca, 0.05% or less Zr, and 0.05% or less Mg.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
