PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide environmental impact assessment method for comparing an environment impact measure which quantitatively evaluates an environmental impact reduction effect based on prolongation of a lifetime by reuse of a non-defective article or reuse after repair and reduction in distribution quantity.;SOLUTION: In a product life cycle including production 1, installation 2, use 3, removal 4, disposal 5, reuse of a non-defective article 6, reuse after repair 7, and recycle 8, an environmental impact ΣSn before operation of the environmental impact measure, an environmental impact ΣSn/A per year of an estimated lifetime on the basis of an estimated lifetime A years, an environmental impact ΣSn' after operation of the environmental impact measure, and an environmental impact ΣSn/B per year of the estimated lifetime on the basis of the estimated lifetime B years are compared in consideration of a prolonged lifetime by reuse of the non-defective article 6 and reuse after repair 7. In consideration of fluctuation of distribution quantity e to e+0.0αg and f to f+0.0βg by the reuse 6 of the non-defective article or the reuse 7 after repair, the environmental impact due to reduction of a production amount from b to b-0.01(α+β)g is calculated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
