PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a measurement result as a phenomenon change as it is, without performing temperature correction of the measurement result, by enabling a temperature measurement of a vibration detecting FBG sensor, in a vibration detecting device using the FBG sensor.;SOLUTION: Light from a light source 1 connected with an optical fiber cable is reflected with the FBG sensor 2, the reflected light is reflected with an FBG 3 for a filter having a reflected wavelength property equivalent to that of the FBG sensor 2 and is observed by a photodetector 4, and vibration applied to the FBG sensor 2 is detected. Along with it, the FBG 3 is made to be heated/cooled by a Peltier element 90, and the temperature of the FBG 3 is changed. When the temperature of the Peltier element 90 is controlled so as to make the intensity of reflected light from the FBG 3 maximum, the temperature of the FBG 3 at that time becomes the temperature of the FBG sensor 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
