PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rice bran powder capable of dealing with the taste of many people by processing rice bran which is difficult to be processed as a food for being directly eaten and can not be used as the food material since old time.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the rice bran powder is provided by removing foreign materials from fresh rice bran by a precipitation selection method in water, adding citric acid, vinegar, etc., to make its pH from 3 to 8 range, cooking at ≥90°C until it becomes a paste state, dehydrating the paste, sterilizing with high pressure steam at ≥100°C, drying with hot wind at 60-80°C and crushing the dried rice bran to produce powder having ≤100 μ particle diameter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
