NEW LOW PRESSURE CASTING METHOD IN DIE CASTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel low pressure die-casting method with which inner quality such as air-tightness in cast products is made excellent, less casting fins are produced, and high productivity is realized, by using a die casting machine smaller than the conventional one or by partly remodeling an existing die-casting machine.;SOLUTION: In the die casting method to perform die casting by using molten metal of an aluminum alloy or a magnesium alloy, low pressurization of casting pressure is made possible by using any of the following means singly or in combination; a means for shortening time for filling molten metal in a cavity, a means for rectifying flow of molten metal, a means for highly evacuating inside the cavity, and a means for uniformizing temperature of a die.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
