PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and inexpensively remove sand without being influenced by the weather.;SOLUTION: This sand removal method removes deposited sediment 8 deposited in a reservoir 1 such as a dam lake. A sheet-like member 6 is laid on the water bottom 5 in the vicinity of a dam bank body 2, and a sediment transfer pipe 7 is connected to its sheet-like member 6 so as to open by facing the reverse surface side of the sheet-like member 6. While, the deposited sediment 8 of an optional place of the reservoir 1 is dredged, and its deposited sediment 8 is accumulated on the reverse surface side of the sheet-like member 6 via the sediment transfer pipe 7, and the deposited sediment 8 accumulated when discharging storage water of the reservoir 1, is discharged to the downstream side of the dam bank body 2 via the sediment transfer pipe 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
