PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-component epoxy adhesive composition which satisfies a high adhesive strength required for manufacturing an electric-powered steering motor for a large vehicle within a wide temperature range and retains the adhesive strength even after being subjected to a cooling/heating cycle.;SOLUTION: The one-component epoxy adhesive composition for electric-powered steering device contains 100 pts.mass epoxy resin containing at least an aromatic epoxy resin, 1-20 pts.mass dicyandiamide hardener, 10-15 pts.mass toughness-imparting agent comprising a thermoplastic elastomer with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -40°C and a filler. After curing, the adhesive composition shows a Tg of ≥170°C and a storage modulus measured by a kinematic viscoelasticity tester at 25°C at 10 Hz of ≤2 GPa.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
