PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing unauthorized use or use intended for mischief when using the printer having a Bluetooth print function at a storefront. PSOLUTION: This printer having a Bluetooth communication function has: a Bluetooth communication module; a random number generation means; an authentication code generation means generating an authentication code on the basis of a random number generated by the random number generation means; a Bluetooth connection request detection means detecting a Bluetooth connection request; a display mechanism displaying the authentication code in time of the Bluetooth connection request; an approval means approving Bluetooth connection on the basis of the authentication code; a cutoff detection means detecting Bluetooth cutoff; and a random number regeneration means regenerating the random number every time detecting the cutoff.
