PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute manufacturing equipment of a booklet such as a calendar which enhances recycling properties of paper resources and enables shortening of a time required for manufacture.;SOLUTION: A device for application of an adhesive to the booklet formed of stacked paper leaves 1 is composed of holding means 31/22 which hold the middle part of a bundle of the stacked paper leaves 1 by holding this part between, a means 24 for forming an aperture between the paper leaves by opening one end part of the bundle by transmission of vibration and an adhesive supplying means 4 for pasting the one end part of the bundle of the paper leaves being opened, by injection of an adhesive thereinto. After the bundle is formed of the stacked paper leaves 1, the middle part of the bundle is held by the holding means 31 and the aperture is opened between the paper leaves by giving the vibration to one end part of the bundle by the aperture forming means 24. Then the adhesive is applied to one end part of the bundle of the paper leaves by injecting the adhesive thereinto by the adhesive supplying means 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
