PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin delivery mechanism capable of carrying coins one by one while suppressing clogging of coins and a ticket-money separation device provided therewith. PSOLUTION: When a return roller 61 moves in a separating direction from a feed roller 60, a transmission gear 72 is made movable, following the movement of the return roller 61 so that the meshing of the transmission gear 72 with a feed roller gear 64 and its meshing with a return roller gear 73 are held, respectively. When a preliminarily assumed plurality of coins K are fitted between the feed roller 60 and the return roller 61, the return roller 61 moves in the separating direction from the feed roller 60 by the thickness portion of the coins K. The return roller gear 73 also moves in the separating direction from the feed roller gear 64 according to this, while the transmission gear 72 also moves following the movement of the return roller gear.
