PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaminophosphine oxide capable of being suitably utilized for constructing an asymmetric carbon, a method for producing the same, a diaminophosphine oxide-palladium complex and a method for constructing an asymmetric quaternary carbon by using the complex. PSOLUTION: This diaminophosphine oxide is expressed by general formula 4 [wherein, RSP3/SP, RSP4/SPare independently each a 6-10C aromatic group which may be substituted optionally by a 1-6C alkyl or a 1-6C alkoxy; and RSP5/SPis a 7-20C aralkyl which may be optionally substituted by a 1-10C alkyl or a 6-10C aromatic group].
