PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape in which an adhesive layer or adhesive layers are disposed on one or both the sides of a substrate with an aqueous adhesive in good appearance.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape in which an adhesive layer or adhesive layers are disposed on one or both the sides of a substrate is characterized by forming the adhesive layer or layers from an aqueous dispersion type acrylic adhesive obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising a (4 to 12C) alkyl (meth)acrylate as a main component and a carboxy group-containing monomer in the presence of an emulsifier, having a coating process for coating the substrate with the aqueous dispersion type acrylic adhesive to form the coating film, and a drying process for drying the coating film to form the adhesive layer, and disposing a vibration process for giving ultrasonic vibrations from the opposite side of the coating film-forming surface between the coating process and the drying process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
