PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work-execution method and a work-execution device for a road surface sign line having water permeability, and indicating superior drainability even when executed on drain pavement, by supplying a proper quantity of paint for executing the road surface sign line, by regulating the excessive outflow of the paint even on an inferior road surface and the draining pavement. PSOLUTION: This work-execution method of the road surface sign line, constructs the road surface sign line 3 by continuously forming a state of supplying no excessive paint to an outflow port 5, by using a device as a construction device having a paint hopper 1 for storing the heated and melted paint 2, a coating film thickness regulating plate 4 installed on the lower end of a paint hopper rear surface, the outflow port 5 formed of the lower end of the coating film regulating plate 4 and a lower opening part of the paint hopper 1, and a delivery quantity adjusting tank 6 arranged in the paint hopper 1 above the outflow port 5, that is, the delivery quantity adjusting tank 6 arranged so as to form a space between the outflow port 5 and the delivery quantity adjusting tank 6.
